“ORANGE” The festival of MUSIC & ADVENTURE!!!

I dropped into DAMBUK @ ORANGE FEST !!!

The name itself denotes - an event related to oranges (fruit). Yes, the event takes place amidst trees brimming with oranges over hills at a place call DAMBUK in Arunachal Pradesh. Dambuk is the  administrative division of the state in the district of Lower Dibang valley, popularly known for orange production & bewildered landscapes.Dambuk was connected only by river way in & out of Arunachal until 2017. Today the journey has become easier because of the bridge built to connect it to places around; a slick smooth highway.

Oranges on display, have it for free

Orange fest is all about music, oranges and adventures, runs at a stretch for 03 nights and 04 days. If you are someone who loves music and lose yourself sitting on top of a hill, sipping your favorite drink, swinging in rhythm of reggae ,jazz, wrap, pop, rock, classical; cool breeze caressing your hair and face; and you feel in somewhere far away from the concrete artificial world, then this place is all yours.

Performers from Mumbai

The fest is not only about brilliant concerts & performers from all over the country and world but to experience thrilling adventures as well viz; Car racing, River rafting, Mountain tracking, Cycling, paragliding etc etc. Best time to visit the place is during this festival on the month of December.
